There's a chill in the air...

SIMULATION has arrived!

October ~ November ~ December

Releases & Reveals!
SIMULATION is now available!

In 2082, androids are an essential part of daily life. Some are helpful, some would make better toasters, and some are so human-like they're creepy. Back in Atlanta, Detective Cooper takes a case to uncover an illegal clone android simulation operation. He hopes it will take his mind off his recent break up, but winds up crossing paths with his ex, FBI Agent Geri Harper.

As Cooper closes in, Geri is kidnapped. But when she resurfaces in Washington and goes on a killing spree, he knows it isn't her. Now under suspicion himself, Cooper must find the real Geri to prove her innocence, not to mention hunt down the powerful villain behind it all. Never a dull moment.

SIMULATION delivers more technology, more intense action, more humor, and more, engaging new characters. Come along for the ride.

Available Now!

And my release party was a great success. Now I just need to scrounge up some reviews. And if you visit my blog, you can enter a contest to win a signed copy of Simulation or some other fabulous prizes!

The first chapter of JOLISSA, an Anti-Princess Story is now on YouTube.

I still need to tweak it a bit - and then get moving onto chapter 2. In case you didn't see it last time, here's the blurb again:

Jolissa doesn't believe in Once upon a time or Happily ever after. She'll curtsy to your face and stick her tongue out behind your back. Her only friend is her dog Ziggy and she even kicks him when her plan to make a better life goes terribly wrong. Knowing Ziggy really is her only friend, she follows his trail with help from a couple of other losers to the dangerous castle of the evil wizard Cree. Well, Cree better watch out if he tries to get between Jolissa and her precious pup.

July ~ August ~ September

Releases & Reveals!!
Now that POP TRAVEL is all spiffed up, It's time to introduce his new baby sister, SIMULATION, September 14th! Here's the mini-blurb teaser:

In 2082, androids are essential, but some are too real. Clone android simulations are illegal and Cooper is on a case to find out who's making them. He has to work fast when his ex-girlfriend tries to kill him. She's a simulation, right?

Can't wait to share the new cover, July 27!

Also this month I'm hoping to get the first chapter of JOLISSA, an Anti-Princess Story produced on YouTube. We'll see how far my "interns" get! They're off to a brilliant start! Here's another blurb:

Jolissa doesn't believe in Once upon a time or Happily ever after. She'll curtsy to your face and stick her tongue out behind your back. Her only friend is her dog Ziggy and she even kicks him when her plan to make a better life goes terribly wrong. Knowing Ziggy really is her only friend, she follows his trail with help from a couple of other losers to the dangerous castle of the evil wizard Cree. Well, Cree better watch out if he tries to get between Jolissa and her precious pup.

What I'm Reading...
  • Still reading Effigy by M.J. Fifield - epic fantasy, it's long but juicy!
  • I've also started Bella's Point by Elizabeth Seckman and One Good Catch by Heather M. Gardner. Since when did I like romance? But they're all pretty great so far!

What I'm Writing...
  • Eureka!! Finished first draft and a couple of edits of CRADLE ROCK! Book Two of Beast World. I got so much done, I made a PDF of it for my son to read and he's really into it! Yay!
  • I've also started writing the rough draft of DISPOSAL, Book Three in the Cooper Chronicles. Can you believe it? I still love the song Dangerous by Big Data for Cooper's troublesome nephew.
  • And I in my SPARE time, I'm writing POP TRAVEL into a screenplay! Yes, I needed more to do. But what better way to shop around a book for a movie than to already have the screenplay, right?? Dreamin BIG!

Releases & Reveals!!
  • SIMULATION, book two after POP TRAVEL in the Cooper Chronicles techno-thriller series is due to release SEPTEMBER 14, 2015! Publisher is working on the cover, and possibly a new cover for PT too. Here's the blurb for SIMULATION:
  • In 2082, androids are an essential part of daily life. Some are helpful, some would make better toasters, and some are so human-like they're creepy. Back in Atlanta, Detective Cooper's latest client has him searching for her boyfriend who she thinks was replaced by a simulation, an illegal clone android. The guy also happens to be a popular new congressman.

To make matters more complicated, Cooper keeps crossing paths with his ex, FBI Agent Geri Harper, as they seem to be looking for the same guy. Cooper knows he's getting close when Geri is kidnapped, but when she resurfaces in Washington and goes on a killing spree, he knows it isn't her. Now under suspicion himself, Cooper must find the real Geri to prove her innocence, not to mention hunt down the powerful villain behind it all. Never a dull moment.

Reading

  • I have a couple more I may start, can't read just one!

  • Next up, DISPOSAL (Book Three in the Cooper Chronicles, the song Dangerous by Big Data is my muse. I can't wait to write this one!

Being Positive in 2015!

Happy New Year, y'all!

My mantra for 2015 is Share the Joy!
I'm so blessed. And I appreciate everything I have. You never know when something could happen and rip everything away. So I want to share the joy while I have it. I also need to keep from worrying about loss. Loss is a part of life that makes the gains more valuable. Sharing hope, joy, and love, especially love, keeps fear away and strengthens us to handle anything that comes.

So if you ever need some words of encouragement or a pat on the back for your positive news, drop me a line! I'm here to share the joy!
